SODIC East: How Integrated Communities Are Reshaping East Cairo

SODIC continues to develop SODIC East in New Heliopolis, an integrated community spanning 655 feddans in East Cairo. The project currently includes eight residential neighborhoods, with 1,475 units delivered as development continues across the remaining phases.
The community is designed around more than residential buildings, combining homes with commercial, sports and service facilities. Several neighborhoods have already reached completion, while additional phases continue to progress, supporting the gradual growth of the community and its resident population.
A Focus on Integrated Living
SODIC East was master-planned by Sasaki, with more than 84% of the development dedicated to open and green spaces. Its 2-kilometer Green Spine includes retail, food and beverage outlets, sports courts and recreational areas, while the community also features the SODIC Sports Club and other amenities.
Why It Matters for East Cairo
SODIC East reflects the growing demand for integrated communities where residents can access housing, leisure, retail and essential services within one destination. Located between the Cairo-Suez and Cairo-Ismailia roads and close to Al Shorouk City and the New Administrative Capital, the project benefits from its strategic position within one of Cairo's expanding growth corridors.
