New Cairo City is one of the major modern satellite cities located on the eastern side of Cairo, developed to expand the capital and reduce overcrowding in the city center.

It is known for its high-end residential compounds, wide streets, and strong urban planning, making it one of the most desirable living areas in Greater Cairo. The city includes well-known districts like the Fifth Settlement, First Settlement, and Third Settlement, along with many gated communities.

New Cairo is also a key educational and commercial hub, hosting top universities, international schools, office parks, shopping malls, and business centers such as the American University in Cairo (AUC) campus and Cairo Festival City.

With its strategic location between Heliopolis, Maadi, and the New Administrative Capital, it has become a prime area for both residential living and real estate investment in East Cairo.
