Majid Al Futtaim is planning $3.4 billion in new investments in Egypt, expanding its presence across real estate, hospitality, retail, and mixed-use developments. The company has already invested around $2.8 billion in Egypt over the past 27 years.
The new investment pipeline includes a $3 billion strategic project being developed in partnership with Madar Development, alongside a $400 million multi-use development covering Junction Business Park and ELMNT33°.
The expansion also includes Majid Al Futtaim's entry into Cairo's hospitality sector through its first 25hours hotel, planned within Junction Business Park in West Cairo. The company has already started enabling works at JUNCTION, with the first phase valued at EGP 500 million and total planned investment exceeding EGP 20 billion.
Meanwhile, ELMNT33° at Mall of Egypt has launched with an investment of EGP 457 million, bringing together dining, lifestyle, and flexible co-working spaces across 5,250 sqm.
The expansion highlights the growing role of mixed-use and commercial destinations in Egypt, combining offices, hospitality, retail, dining, and entertainment within integrated developments.
