Hassan Allam Secures $1B Contract for Grova Westfields in West Cairo

Grova Developments has awarded Hassan Allam Construction a contract valued at $1 billion to deliver Grova Westfields, a major mixed-use development in Sheikh Zayed, West Cairo. The project spans approximately 303 acres, or 1.2 million square meters, and is being developed in partnership with the Egyptian Kuwaiti Company for Real Estate Development.
Grova Westfields will feature a 150-key five-star hotel, branded residences, luxury villas, and apartments. Hassan Allam Construction will also undertake major infrastructure and landscaping works across the development.
The project’s location provides access to Sphinx International Airport, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and the Pyramids Corridor, positioning it within one of West Cairo’s major emerging development areas. Broadway Malyan is leading the masterplan and architectural design.
The development reflects the growing presence of integrated communities combining residential, hospitality, and lifestyle components in West Cairo. It also marks another step in Grova Developments’ expansion across the Egyptian real estate market.
